One of our favourite things is hosting events in our galleries, so we were delighted to finally be able to celebrate the expansion of our Hong Kong gallery – now the largest Timothy Oulton showroom in the world – by bringing everyone together for a fun-packed party.

The black carpet was rolled out, scattered with fresh red rose petals, with hundreds of red roses adorning the entrance, flanked by our two bearskin-hatted British royal guards in their red uniforms, welcoming our guests into the world Timothy Oulton.

Those doors first opened in 2017 when we launched our second Hong Kong location, situated in the island’s go-to shopping destination Horizon Plaza. Since then, Timothy Oulton has taken over the entire second floor, more than doubling the gallery space to 14,000 square feet, with every inch packed full of rich materials, daring design, and intriguing curios.

As part of the celebration, we also unveiled our renowned Apollo space lounge, Timothy Oulton’s creative juggernaut. Built to the same scale as NASA’s original Apollo 11 and made entirely in-house, it features a bespoke interior in sumptuous hand-tufted Aussie Tobac leather, with a woven leather floor, Odeon chandelier and Alabaster table. Guests had a great time enjoying a glass of champagne in the Apollo and snapping us some pictures.

Champagne corks popped and glasses clinked at the Rex dining table where Veuve Clicquot tasting was in full swing, while the distinctive aroma of fresh rose coffee filled the air from the Habitu pop-up. At our marble Junction dining table, guests tucked into towering tiers of rose cupcakes served on vintage British blue and white china, while over in the chilled Noble Souls section of the gallery, guests were immersed in the ancient art of candle-making with a workshop by Jane Eve Candles.

Designer Michael Yeung was on hand to discuss his latest collaboration with Tim Oulton – the Outlaw Collection, a daring, industrial-style range inspired by the world of motorcycles and mechanics, exclusive to our galleries in Hong Kong, London, Glasgow, and the US.

It was brilliant to welcome all our guests and their families, and even some furry friends who made themselves at home on our Chesterfield dog bed. We look forward to hosting more events at all our galleries worldwide – make sure you sign up to the guestlist here to join us at our next celebration!
