This month, after a pandemic hiatus, we were absolutely thrilled to host Bluebird's first event of 2022: A Night of Finer Things.

When we first opened our worldwide flagship at Bluebird in London, one of the most important things to us was to create a really amazing space for hosting events.

Over 100 discerning guests joined us (plus a very chic chihuahua) to celebrate the more stylish side of life in our first event of the year. Our event partners showcased a discerning offering spanning artisan drinks through to bespoke fashion and textiles, in a creative coalescence of luxurious craftsmanship and British eccentricity.

Fellow British brands included Gattertop, Ana De Costa, Initially London, Lisa Tan, Millie Bridget Henry, Montague Ede, Curated Vintage by Sarah Kate Byrne, and Watches of Knightsbridge, together with global sound and audio maestros Bang & Olufsen.

Champagne corks flew, the music playlist was in full swing, a magnificent cheese board overflowed on the Georgian Architectural dining table, and guests were welcomed by our dapper servers in bowler hats.

Bepsoke monogrammers Initially London showcased a selection of monogrammed accessories, and fine jewellery from designer Ana De Costa brought in a touch of the avant-garde. Modern tailor Montague Ede showcased their elegant made-to-measure menswear, and sustainable fashion stylist Sarh Kate Byrne chatted to guests about curated vintage attire.

More creativity awaited as guests explored the gallery - sitting comfortably on our tactile, handcrafted furniture under the sparkle of chandeliers, stopping to touch our 1.7 tonne glowing rock crystal, or press the button on our custom aquarium housing a yellow submarine (guess what song plays at the touch of the button).

The gallery was all abuzz, even in the usually calm and chilled Noble Souls section of the gallery, where guests sank into the most disarmingly comfortable linen sofas to enjoy artisan vodka drinks from Gattertop.

Over near the leather Marshal bar, everyone had fun trying on the beautiful creations of milliner Lisa Tan, whose hats are the perfect showpiece for any occasion, while elsewhere, guests explored the luxury textiles and hand-drawn prints of textile designer Millie Bridget Henry.

Watches of Knightsbridge, who originated in Portobello 50 years ago, displayed some of their exquisite timepieces, and audio pioneers Bang & Olufsen showcased some of their most innovative speaker systems in and around our tufted-leather Apollo lunar module.

It was wonderful to welcome so many faces, and a please to do what we most enjoy - hosting a great night in, amongst stylish surrounds and in good company.

After the grand prize draw at the end of the night - with some fantastic prizes including a BEOLIT-20 Bluetooth speaker from Bang & Olufsen - our wonderful crowd of guests left with a goody bag and, we hope, some great memories of the night.
