New this season, Timothy Oulton introduces Saddlestrap leather, one of the world's only vegetable-tanned and vegetable-dyed upholstery leathers.
Available in a soft yet saturated pastel palette for spring/summer, Saddlestrap is showcased on the Sanctum dining chair and new Trace dining chair. Also new, an exquisitely lightweight linen called Zephyr, named in reference to a light and gentle breeze, is now available on the entire Noble Souls sofa collection. A large range of natural veg-dyed colourways include blue Larkspur and pink Azalea.
Tanned in Timothy Oulton's own sustainable tannery in Brazil, Saddlestrap is a thick, durable and comfortable leather that is tanned the traditional way using natural tannins from oak bark. The leather is hand-finished and hand-dyed using simple tools and time-honoured techniques, coloured using 100% natural dyes derived from plants such as as mulberry leaf, jasmine, indigo, and palm tree.
The colour will darken over time with use, enriching the leather's patina and character. Taking inspiration from well-worn riding saddles, the leather's original surface is maintained as much as possible, with characteristics such as healed scars, creases and areas of grain variance preserved in celebration of the natural state. Saddlestrap is also available on the Trace dining chair. Trace's iconic presence is defined by a frame that traces classic strong proportions, made in polished steel that features the welder's marks as evidence of the authentic handcraftsmanship that goes into each piece. The seat and back are slung with authentically vegetable-tanned, vegetable-dyed Saddlestrap leather. Available with or without arms.

Also introducing new light and airy Zephyr linen, with the word zephyr pertaining to a gentle breeze, available on our Noble Souls sofas.
As with all our Noble Souls linens, Zephyr is coloured using only 100% natural vegetable-dyes.
Zephyr linen is showcased in Azalea here on the Nest sofa, offering disarming comfort and softness. Azalea is a soft pink that has an elegant warmth to it. A choice of other natural colourways are available.
