Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse is still privately owned by the Barkers and is now the largest independent furniture retailer in the UK. With over 65 years of living and loving furniture, and eight stores throughout the country, we know our stuff when it comes to quality, style and value.
The year 1946 saw the opening of two stores, including one in Middlesbrough which has since moved to its current location at Teesside Retail Park. We've continued to be a popular furniture choice with customers in this Teesside town, which boasts a passion for live entertainment, art, and music.
