Guildford, United Kingdom
Welcome to Timothy Oulton at Barker and Stonehouse, in the historical town of Guildford in Surrey. Guildford's rich heritage includes its medieval castle, used by the King of England in the 1400s. Situated at Ladymead on a site that was once home to Guildford Fire Station, the Barker and Stonehouse showroom boasts two floors of dramatic architecture.
Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse is a family-run business passionate about great design, curating a mix of tradition and modernity. It's a perfect fit with Timothy Oulton's timeless designs, with galleries already housed at Barker and Stonehouse in the north of England as well as London and Hove. The new 204 m2 ( 2196 sq ft) gallery is a multi-sensorial experience layered with daring design and vintage curios. Discover drama and intrigue around every corner, including the epic Pillar of Knowledge, a floor-to-ceiling tower intricately crafted from vintage books. Take your time to explore the authentically handcrafted collections over a glass of champagne, as our friendly Ambassadors tell you the fascinating stories behind the designs.
