Inspired by old vegetable and butcher's blocks that were
traditionally used for cutting during food preparation. The blocks
are handmade using a variety of reclaimed timbers such as elm,
pine, okan, bingtangor, mahogany and sycamore. The wood has been
salvaged from old buildings across rural China, and due to the
ambiguity of each piece's distinct heritage, we have collectively
named these timbers Ceena, which means 'supper'.
