Each sofa is filled with goose down feathers, the simplest form of
all feathers, creating thousands of tiny pockets of air within the
sofa. Seat covers are all natural linen, using only 100% natural
vegetable dyes. Some support is offered in the seat and back making

Epic natural beauty, created with aged reclaimed timber. The
English Beam coffee table is made using old wood up to a
century-old, salvaged from the structural beams and pillar joists
of buildings across the UK. The arduous process of reclamation
starts at a demolition site, where precious sections are recovered.
The timbers are sorted and de-nailed by hand, all the while
preserving the natural surface, revived to once again support new
lifestyles.
These tables have been handmade using the central part of the
axel from old wooden carriages. The timber is typically 50 years
old. Foraged from traditional village markets, most of the tables
are made according to simple traditional designs, yet each one is
different in some way. Our Abode Spoke side tables can be used
individually or clustered together.
These handwoven scatter cushions measuring approx. 18" x 18"
(45cm x 45cm) are made using natural indigo hand dyed yarns, using
traditional methods passed down from mother to daughter for
centuries. Old Weave scatter cushions come in three designs -
Strip, Band and Motif, each in two sizes - 60x30 and 45x45. Each
cushion takes approximately one day to weave (1-2 metres of fabric,
depending on the design) and each design is traditional in
origin.
