New Store Location in Norwalk, Connecticut Marks Fifth Timothy Oulton Gallery in the United States
Our new London gallery is now open! We’re proud to announce our latest space in the capital, located within the historic Heal’s flagship store. Timothy Oulton’s first UK Gallery opened in Harrods in 2013 and the new gallery at Heal’s follows firmly in its footsteps, in a space that promises plenty of drama and intrigue.
The new 1800 square foot gallery is housed on the second floor of the iconic Heal and Sons building in Tottenham Court Road. Heal’s was established back in 1810, and two centuries later it’s grown to become one of the UK’s most prestigious furniture destinations, curating the very best of global design. The flagship store opened in 1818, and is now a historic landmark on London’s premier furniture street, just a short walk away from the bustle of Oxford Street.
Brimming with excitement and energy, the new gallery offers an immersive experience for all the senses. Enjoy a glass of champagne as you sink into sumptuous leather sofas, wrapped in an opulent throw whilst sitting under a suspended vintage canoe. The in-store collection includes some of our best-loved upholstery such as the Shabby sectional sofa in buttery leather or Faded & Degraded velvet and the Saddle chair in Buck’dN Brok’n leather. The marble and oak Junction dining table is also showcased, along with a full lighting gallery which includes iconic designs such as the Stalagmite pendant. Come by and pay us a visit to discover more.
Tim Oulton said of the opening: “Heal’s shares our passion for enduring, well-made design and aren’t afraid to push the boundaries in terms of innovation, so we’re very excited to be part of their historic flagship store and expand our presence in the heart of London.”
