The Bluebird flagship store of British furniture and interiors company Timothy Oulton has won the Inspiring Creative Design category at this year’s prestigious Luxury Briefing Awards.
Inspired by vintage infinity mirrors from the 1970s, the Inception mirror is a spectacular showcase of urban glamour for people who love to entertain. You can now be in with the chance to win this unique design for your home, by entering the competition.
Inception was launched this year as part of Timothy Oulton’s Hosted Living concept – a collection of refined “conversation starter” pieces for people who love to host at home in an elegant setting. Inception is part of a range of dramatic pieces, designed to excite the eye and get the heart racing.
The Inception mirror lights up to reveal a seemingly endless line of reflections, appearing smaller and smaller as they fade into the distance. When it’s turned off, it becomes an elegant everyday mirror, once turned on, it’s as if a portal has been opened, leading you into another dimension.
The mirror is framed in Flat Brass finish, a plated finish that has been specially created to look like real brass that has slightly tarnished over time. LED antique-style bulbs are placed behind the frame for a lighting effect that’s soft and mellow.
Inception is available in 3 sizes: 70cms, 100cms and 130cms.
