Mid-November saw the launch of the very first Timothy Oulton galleries in Saudi Arabia, both in Jeddah and Al Khobar. With its Beirut gallery opened in August last year, this totals Timothy Oulton’s presence in the Middle East to three galleries.
Despite the unusually bad weather, the Jeddah gallery was filled with 200 guests including interior designers, VIP customers and Saudi Fashionistas. The launch attracted attention not only from native Saudi’s but also welcomed visitors from neighbouring Middle Eastern countries.
In similar style, 180 guests gathered on the opposite side of the country to celebrate the opening of Timothy Oulton in Al Khobar. This second launch was last, but by no means least, as once again the British guards lined the entrance to the gallery and waiters dressed in Bowler hats served a selection of traditional British cakes and cheeses as well as glasses of champagne.
All in all, both opening events were a total success and predict an encouraging future to Timothy Oulton’s development in the region.
