Timothy Oulton’s Hong Kong gallery was a sizzling hub of creativity last week as we introduced the new Coastal Drift collection and Trade Professionals Program to around 30 of the city’s hottest interior designers and architects.
The newly kitted out three storey gallery in St Francis Street welcomed the design savvy crowd for an intimate gathering, sponsored by trendy lifestyle guide Merci magazine. Guests were treated to ripe and rustic cheese platters, invitingly laid out on the Marble coffee table and new Museum dining table; handcrafted from authentic old English oak parquet. As the champagne and wine corks popped and vintage British teacups clinked, new Iris lighting – inspired by submarine portholes – and irresistibly tactile driftwood and acrylic blocks were catching the eye of the crowd.
On the second floor, guests made themselves at home on the new Dex sectional in Warrior leather and listened to the inspiration behind the designs, including the unique hand-finishing process that gives Warrior its ultra-soft, luxe hand feel. Others enjoyed the cool breezy comfort of the linen Tropic sofa while images of swaying palm trees entered the imagination.
Chatter turned to Timothy Oulton’s new Trade Professionals Program, which offers designers full access to the collections together with supporting tools and a close personal relationship with the gallery. The relaxed evening provided the perfect platform to forge new relationships and experience Timothy Oulton’s latest version of carefree coastal living, embodied in the new collection.
The Timothy Oulton Trade Professionals Program is currently being launched in Hong Kong, Harrods in London, Amsterdam, New York, L.A, San Francisco and Orange County, California. For more information, please contact the relevant gallery directly. View all stores
