Yes it’s event time again! We are so happy to finally be doing what we love best – hosting you in our galleries. Our new Orange County gallery at SOCO welcomed over 100 discerning guests to one of our signature (and favourite!) events, A Night of Finer Things.

The night is a celebration of the more stylish side of life, and our event partners included fellow British brands Aston Martin and Paul Smith, sound maestros Bang & Olufsen, and local stylish brands Getaway Barbershop and 7 Days Cocktails.

The entrance to the gallery was carpeted with fresh red rose petals and our British guards, dressed in their fine red jackets and bearskin hats, stood to attention to welcome guests at the door, with dapper waiting to bestow guests with a glass of champagne – served of course in our vintage Baby Cham glasses complete with Union Jack napkin.

Heads were already turning at the two Aston Martins outside – a DBX, the brand’s first SUV model, and a DBS coupe. Aston Martin and Timothy Oulton have been firm friends for quite some time and we’ve partnered together on many occasions, including furnishing event lounges at Aston Martin’s Pebble Beach estate.

Inside, the British playlist was in full swing and guests were mingling, with a steady queue forming at our Apollo lunar module with its tufted leather seating and exterior shell modelled on NASA’s original Apollo.

Iconic British fashion brand Paul Smith displayed their latest super-stylish fashionwear collection, and over by the equally effortlessly sophisticated Shabby bed, Getaway Barbershop offered hot towel treatments from a vintage barber chair.

Showcasing their Beosound 1 and Beolab 28 speaker systems, Bang & Olufsen were perfectly at home in the Outlaw collection by Timothy Oulton and Michael Yeung, an audacious range of edgy and industrial furniture pieces inspired by the world of motorcycles.

The Classic Crystal Bar was a hive of activity as 7 Days Cocktails shook up a storm with ready-to-go cocktails including the Cara Cara Orange Old Fashioned, Passion Fruit Cosmopolitan, Spicy Blood Orange, and Passion Fruit Margarita, as well as the Strawberry and Cucumber Margarita. Abundant cheeseboards were stationed at the Tactile and Junction marble dining tables, inviting guests to tuck in.

It was wonderful to welcome so many faces, and a please to do what we most enjoy – hosting a great night in, amongst stylish surrounds and in good company.
