Last september, the famous exclusive members club has opened a venture in Hong Kong! The place showcases the best of the West with the best of the East to present a club of the finest blend of drinks, entertainment and service with a decadent line up of events for its Members.

British Invasion! Two classic English brands join forces to present their new collections to New York editors.

On a drizzling mid week November evening, a small gathering of interested or "would-be" single malt whisky aficionados came in from the rain to the warm hearth of the Timothy Oulton store on Gough Street in Hong Kong. With music going, and the candles lit, it felt cosy – a good place to be, and the perfect atmosphere for some serious whisky tasting. We'd invited some of our most valued customers, as well as some new friends too.

Timothy Oulton is excited to present its collections at Maison et Objet, January 18-22, Hall 5B, Stand C1-D2.

Following the success of the first standalone Timothy Oulton store in the US, which opened in June of this year in Dallas, the Amsterdam gallery is the first of its kind in Europe, confirming the brand’s reputation as a truly global brand.

Earlier this month, our San Francisco store played host to “Great British Design” as part of the programming of BritWeek, an annual celebration of all things British in California.

“It was easy to say yes when the BritWeek organisation invited us to participate in the two weeks of British festivities around the city,” said Carl Conway, gallery manager of Timothy Oulton San Francisco. “It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate and honour Timothy Oulton’s contribution to great design as well as our British heritage.”

Our latest store in the west coast of the United States will officially open in San Francisco on 1 December. Timothy Oulton provides consumers with guidance in creating their own interior styles through the creation of a range of different room concepts. These encompass a range of different themed styles which incorporate Timothy Oulton products and collections.

Gentlemen’s Club
The Gentlemen’s Club rooms are reminiscent of a traditional 19th century English gentlemen’s club – an exclusive enclave where men would gather after a hard day’s work. Encapsulating the heritage and refined opulence of these historic clubs, the rooms feature classic design details with accents of steel finishes for a contemporary touch.

Timothy Oulton, Founder and Creative Director of his eponymous brand, is a master of reinvention and a pioneer of design.

Tim’s story dates back to his childhood days in Manchester, where he grew up surrounded by antiques from his father’s business, Halo Antiques. Tim embarked on a career in the furniture industry in 1985 after leaving school and entering the family’s antique business. Originally, Tim never planned to build his own career in the industry. Upon leaving school at 18 with no job prospects, Tim took his father’s advice to try his hand at antiques. At first, he thought he would only do the job for a year or so and then move on to becoming a banker, however, he soon caught the furniture and designing bug.
